DESCRIPTION:FIND US ON FACEBOOK\n@RINGCRAFT REBELS –\nwhere we do it better!\nWelcome to our Ringcraft Rebels training session  ….  we are inviting all sizes along.  This session will take place inside the dog barn so that we can focus on movement and handling without the distractions of the weather outside. \nWith a maximum of just 8 dogs in the class\, we’ll work through stacking\, handling\, and moving your show dog using only positive\, treat and toy based methods.  While you are waiting for your turn either at the table or in front of your “judge”\, you will be expected to practice various exercises throughout the session so there is no “dead time”… every moment counts.  You will have the opportunity to present and have your dog gone over\, as well as to move your dog with others in front and behind to get them used to what happens in the ring.  Bring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry companion if you are both loving it!  No harsh handling will be permitted. \nWho is invited?  Anybody already showing or who has undergone a private 121 session with Ringcraft Rebels.\nWhat should I bring?  Treats …. lots and lots of tiny high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.\nShould I bring toys?  If your dog is toy-driven\, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.\nDo I need to bring a water bowl?  Water is available but please bring your own bowl to avoid cross contamination.\nDo I need poo bags?  Yes\, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.\nWhat should I wear?  Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.\nDo I need a chair?  We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour.  If you feel you will need to sit down\, then please do bring your own chair. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and do not disturb the class once it is already in session.\nPrice is PER DOG \nLOCATION:\nThe dog barn is on the South Cave – Brough road\, 420 metres in the Brough direction from the roundabout near the BP service station on the A1034/A63 South Cave junction. SUMMARY:MARKET RASEN CANINE FIRST AID WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:A HUGE thank you to Hayley at Positive Paw4mance for inviting us to come and train in Market Rasen\, Lincolnshire. \nOn our courses\, EVERYBODY is welcome from Students through to Professional Groomers\, Walkers\, Pet Sitters\, Dog Trainers\, Security Guards\, Hobbyists and members of the General Public.  We deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \n\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance valid for three years and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary. For students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs (I have 2 glorious Rhodesian Ridgebacks to choose from).  It is generally safer to practice your skills initially on a human volunteer rather than on your furry best friend.   A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts clearly by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up which is great for you to witness as a learning tool.  Once you are consistently getting positive feedback from your human “Rover”\, that’s the time to start practising on your dog.\n\n.\nWe have a fully stocked shop on the website where any products featured (and many more that we don’t mention) will be available for you to buy should you wish: our Rhodes 2 Recovery books\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc.  Don’t forget\, if you do order from our website rather than in person\, there will be the inevitable post and packing costs to add\, so bring your purse and fill your boots while your here to avoid the pain of p&p!\n.\n\n\nTickets are charged at £60 per person.  If you would like to secure a place for yourself\, please contact Hayley Tindall directly through the Positive Paw4mance Facebook Page

DESCRIPTION:IT’S ALL ABOUT THE PUPPIES!!!!\n  \n\nDo you have a brand new puppy??\nHave you looked at Crufts on the television and thought you’d love to be there one day with your dog?\n\nWell\, just maybe that’s exactly what the future could hold for you and your new best furry companion.  Our PUPPY FOUNDATION RINGCRAFT sessions are for  you – whether you’ve been showing for years or are brand new to the hobby\, these sessions are entirely for our puppies only.  Designed specifically for brand new baby puppies\, and crafted to give them the foundation to build on and become a super show dog.  Our sessions will give them confidence and a grounding in the basics.  It will direct you into the exercises and games you can play at this pivotal early age to set your puppy up for success so that by the time he is old enough to step paw in the ring\, he is already well on his way to a glittering career. \nDog shows in the UK are regulated by the Kennel Club and only dogs who are pedigree examples of the breed (ie they have “papers” and are not crossbreeds) are allowed to show in most dog shows.  However\, if you are just looking for a bit of fun and to attend local fun shows\, then your dog would be able to compete even if he is not a pedigree. \nOur one hour training sessions will have a maximum of 8 handlers/dogs in them so you aren’t lost in the crowd and will get the 121 attention you need.  It will be attended by other baby puppies just like yours\, so no need for any of them to feel out of their depth – they all have to start somewhere! \nThe course will guide you through such things as: \n\nGetting your puppy to focus on  you\nThe right way to use a lead\nStanding your dog with the PingPong game\nFull body examination husbandry\nFree stacking without touching your dog\nLoose lead trotting\nRunning with other dogs\nTraining and games to practice at home\nAccess to our training videos and files in the Ringcraft Rebels Facebook Group.\n\nIf after attending some of the individual sessions you feel you would like to train further\, you can either enrol for a further Foundation Puppy block\, move forward to 121 training or participate in our workshops before hitting the showring with your best friend for real. \nBring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry sidekick if you are both loving it!  No harsh handling will be permitted. \nWhat should I bring?  Treats …. lots and lots of tiny high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.\nClothing for your dog?  Puppies feel the cold so if your training block is on a winter evening\, please provide a coat for your dog to stay warm.\nShould I bring toys?  If your dog is toy-driven\, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.\nDo I need to bring a water bowl?  Water is available but please bring your own bowl to avoid cross contamination.\nDo I need poo bags?  Yes\, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.\nWhat should I wear?  Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.\nDo I need a chair?  We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour.  If you feel you will need to sit down\, then please do bring your own chair as there is only one bench within the barn. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and do not disturb the class once it is already in session. \n\n\n\nLOCATION:\nThe fields are on the South Cave – Brough road\, 420 metres in the Brough direction from the roundabout near the BP service station on the A1034/A63 South Cave junction. DESCRIPTION:25th JANUARY – 2nd evening session\nWelcome to our Ringcraft Rebels training session  ….  we are inviting all sizes along.  This session will take place inside the dog barn so that we can focus on movement and handling without the distractions of the weather outside. \nWith a maximum of just 8 dogs in the class\, we’ll work through stacking\, handling\, and moving your show dog using only positive\, treat and toy based methods.  While you are waiting for your turn either at the table or in front of your “judge”\, you will be expected to practice various exercises throughout the session so there is no “dead time”… every moment counts.  You will have the opportunity to present and have your dog gone over\, as well as to move your dog with others in front and behind to get them used to what happens in the ring.  Bring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry companion if you are both loving it!  No harsh handling will be permitted. \nWho is invited?  Anybody already showing or who has undergone a private 121 session with Ringcraft Rebels.\nWhat should I bring?  Treats …. lots and lots of tiny high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.\nShould I bring toys?  If your dog is toy-driven\, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.\nDo I need to bring a water bowl?  Water is available but please bring your own bowl to avoid cross contamination.\nDo I need poo bags?  Yes\, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.\nWhat should I wear?  Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.\nDo I need a chair?  We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour.  If you feel you will need to sit down\, then please do bring your own chair. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and do not disturb the class once it is already in session.\nPrice is PER DOG \nLOCATION:\nThe dog barn is on the South Cave – Brough road\, 420 metres in the Brough direction from the roundabout near the BP service station on the A1034/A63 South Cave junction. Drive past Wandahome Caravans and its just before you get to the Ellerker/ Brantingham crossroads. \nT’s and C’s\nCancellations are NON REFUNDABLE\, though places can be swapped if you find you cannot attend – let us know\nAny dog who has been ill\, or in contact with a dog who has been poorly within the last 2 weeks should NOT ATTEND\nDogs with reactive aggression should be given adequate space and not permitted to bark/lunge at others in the class.  Should this behaviour not be controlled safely\, they may be asked to leave if they are considered dangerous/disruptive to others in the class. \nYou are responsible for clearing up ALL toileting accidents

DESCRIPTION:CANINE ON-LINE FIRST AID – rescheduled\n\nThis is the rescheduled on line webinar that had been due to take place in December – apologies for any inconvenience having to alter the date may have caused but so many of the students booked on were poorly that we thought it was the only fair and kind thing to do.  New session\, Sunday 28th January @ 1pm\n…………………………………………… \n\nSo what to you need to do to access the training via webinar?  Well\, when you book on through the button below\, you will receive an email.  That email will have the joining link you need to access the training which will be delivered through the TEAMS software.  YOU DO NOT NEED THE SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON YOUR DEVICE TO ACCESS THE TRAINING. The link will take you to the entrance hall where you will wait to be let in at the beginning of the session.\nPLEASE DO TRY TO LOG ON nice and early on the day of the session so that any technical glitches can be resolved BEFORE the class gets underway.  Once the session is in progress I’m afraid I will not be able to access my phone to address any problems until the half way break.\n………………………………………. \nOn our courses\, EVERYBODY is welcome from Students through to Professional Groomers\, Pet Sitters\, Dog Trainers\, Security Guards\, Hobbyists and members of the General Public.  We deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \n\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary. For students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and if you have your dog handy\, then you could try this as we go along too.  However\, it is generally safer to practice your skills initially on a human volunteer rather than on your furry best friend.   A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. DESCRIPTION:IT’S ALL ABOUT THE PUPPIES!!!!\n  \n\nDo you have a brand new puppy??\nHave you looked at Crufts on the television and thought you’d love to be there one day with your dog?\n\nWell\, just maybe that’s exactly what the future could hold for you and your new best furry companion.  Our PUPPY FOUNDATION RINGCRAFT sessions are for  you – whether you’ve been showing for years or are brand new to the hobby\, these sessions are entirely for our puppies only.  Designed specifically for brand new baby puppies\, and crafted to give them the foundation to build on and become a super show dog.  Our sessions will give them confidence and a grounding in the basics.  It will direct you into the exercises and games you can play at this pivotal early age to set your puppy up for success so that by the time he is old enough to step paw in the ring\, he is already well on his way to a glittering career. \nDog shows in the UK are regulated by the Kennel Club and only dogs who are pedigree examples of the breed (ie they have “papers” and are not crossbreeds) are allowed to show in most dog shows.  However\, if you are just looking for a bit of fun and to attend local fun shows\, then your dog would be able to compete even if he is not a pedigree. \nOur one hour training sessions will have a maximum of 8 handlers/dogs in them so you aren’t lost in the crowd and will get the 121 attention you need.  It will be attended by other baby puppies just like yours\, so no need for any of them to feel out of their depth – they all have to start somewhere! \nThe course will guide you through such things as: \n\nGetting your puppy to focus on  you\nThe right way to use a lead\nStanding your dog with the PingPong game\nFull body examination husbandry\nFree stacking without touching your dog\nLoose lead trotting\nRunning with other dogs\nTraining and games to practice at home\nAccess to our training videos and files in the Ringcraft Rebels Facebook Group.\n\nIf after attending some of the individual sessions you feel you would like to train further\, you can either enrol for a further Foundation Puppy block\, move forward to 121 training or participate in our workshops before hitting the showring with your best friend for real. \nBring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry sidekick if you are both loving it!  No harsh handling will be permitted. \nWhat should I bring?  Treats …. lots and lots of tiny high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.\nClothing for your dog?  Puppies feel the cold so if your training block is on a winter evening\, please provide a coat for your dog to stay warm.\nShould I bring toys?  If your dog is toy-driven\, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.\nDo I need to bring a water bowl?  Water is available but please bring your own bowl to avoid cross contamination.\nDo I need poo bags?  Yes\, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.\nWhat should I wear?  Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.\nDo I need a chair?  We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour.  If you feel you will need to sit down\, then please do bring your own chair as there is only one bench within the barn. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and do not disturb the class once it is already in session. \n\n\n\nLOCATION:\nThe fields are on the South Cave – Brough road\, 420 metres in the Brough direction from the roundabout near the BP service station on the A1034/A63 South Cave junction.
