DESCRIPTION:Well\, we’ve finally entered the 21st century and are delighted to be able to offer live on-line 121’s for our Ringcraft Rebels. \n30 minute sessions …. \njust for you\nIf you live just too far away to train with us in person\, or you’d just like a bit of a brush up and feedback\, then our personal on-line 121’s are just the ticket for you.  You’ll have the freedom to train within your own home\, linked to Kerry in real time just as if she were actually in the room with you. \nA half an hour session will give you the confidence and direction to move forward knowing that you aren’t consolidating any mistakes just because you aren’t able to make it to a physical training session.  It’s also a great way to begin training with brand new puppies before they’ve had their injections so they can still get their paw on the show ladder as early as you’d like with no risk of infection.  All aspects of Ringcraft can be addressed through your mobile device so you can practice at home and only make the trip up to Yorkshire when you feel an “in person” session is needed – saving you travelling time\, petrol and venue booking fees. \nHow do I book a session: \nCheck on Kerry’s availability from the pinned post at the top of the Rhodes 2 Ringcraft Facebook page through this link Rhodes 2 Ringcraft    This will tell you what spaces Kerry has and as soon as you find one that suits you\, simply message Kerry through the Rhodes 2 Ringcraft page to book your time.  Then just pay for your place with the “Purchase Slot” button at the bottom of this page.  If you do not see a time that suits\, message Kerry just in case she is able to juggle things around for you –  you never know. \n  \nEquipment needed \nA smartphone\, tablet or laptop with a camera or webcam (if you’re using a phone\, the bigger screens are better) \nTripod or something you can lean your device against securely. \nInternet access \n  \nSet up \nSet up your device in front of an area where you can stack your dog and adjust so you can see what Kerry can see – you have to be far enough away so that all of your dog can be seen but bear in mind that you need to be able to hear advice and tips – if you have earbuds or wireless headphones\, you could pop those in.   Avoid being in direct sunlight as the glare means that you either can’t see or be seen.  Grab your treats and a clicker and\, if you can\, have a practice in that area so you know how much room you have to work in. \n  \nConnecting \nYou will receive a link to the 1-2-1 in either an email or message and you simply click on the link to get started.  No need to download the Teams app as it will open for you.  You will see a screen asking if you want to join the meeting or if you are super organised\, that the meeting hasn’t started but the host knows you are there.  Click the Join Now button and your hostess with the mostess will then appear.  On the same screen you will see icons at the bottom for turning your microphone\, video and speaker on but they should come on once you click Join Now. \n  \nCan’t hear or see? \nYou should be able to see and hear each other now but if not\, check that the icons on the screen for your video and microphone are not switched off and the volume is turned up on your device. \n  \nCamera is just black? \nMake sure your camera is pointing in the right direction or doesn’t have a cover over it.  Use the switch view icon to change it \nIf you have any questions at all\, please either message through the Rhodes 2 Ringcraft page or text Kerry directly on 07946 208817 \n  \nReviews from past students:  \nTracy & Cali:  “We have just had a fantastic “guinea pig” online ringcraft session with Kerry.  Cannot believe the difference in Cali and I in just half an hour!  With Kerry’s clear instructions and demonstrations Cali and I got to work. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to have been invited to train for Becky’s Dog Grooming in Barton upon Humber for another award-winning canine first aid seminar   This session\, just like all our others\, is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \n. \nWe deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration and much more \n. \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary although we are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the day if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes.\n.\nFor students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my Rhodesian Ridgebacks.  It is vital that you practice on a human volunteer – a dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up\, another indicator that is more difficult to see on a furry patient.\n.\nTo practice on a toy would not give you any of this feedback and I would not be happy about anybody practising on a live animal until they are proficient.  I am\, however\, more than happy for our students to torture a human!  Wound dressings and vet wrap will be available to purchase at the end of the session should you require these for practice purposes or to beef up your first aid kit.\n.\n\nAt the end of the session\, all of the first aid products I use and discuss will be on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book\, first aid kits\, moleskin\, tick pickers etc should you need to add to your equipment list. \nTickets do go very quickly and there are strict limits on numbers\, so if you would like to secure your place\, please click the “Buy ticket” button below. \nT’s & C’s\n(Spaces are paid for in full\, in advance\, through PayPal on this website.  If you do not have a PayPal account\, you can still check out as a guest\, simply using your credit card details.  Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.)

The link will take you to the entrance hall where you will wait to be let in at the beginning of the session.\nPLEASE DO TRY TO LOG ON nice and early on the day of the session so that any technical glitches can be resolved BEFORE the class gets underway.  Once the session is in progress I’m afraid I will not be able to access my ‘phone to address any problems until the half way break.  My ‘phone number should you need to contact me BEFORE the session commences is 07946 208817\n………………………………………. \nOn our courses\, EVERYBODY is welcome from Students through to Professional Groomers\, Pet Sitters\, Dog Trainers\, Security Guards\, Hobbyists and members of the General Public.  We deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \n\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary. For students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and if you have your dog handy\, then you could try this as we go along too.  However\, it is generally safer to practice your skills initially on a human volunteer rather than on your furry best friend.   A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. DESCRIPTION:FIND US ON FACEBOOK\n@RINGCRAFT REBELS –\nTOP 4 in the UK for the\nTraining Class of the Year Award!\nWelcome to our Ringcraft Rebels training session  ….  we are inviting all sizes along.  This session will take place inside the dog barn so that we can focus on movement and handling without the distractions of the weather outside. \nWith a maximum of just 8 dogs in the class\, we’ll work through stacking\, handling\, and moving your show dog using only positive\, treat and toy based methods.  While you are waiting for your turn either at the table or in front of your “judge”\, you will be expected to practice various exercises throughout the session so there is no “dead time”… every moment counts.  You will have the opportunity to present and have your dog gone over\, as well as to move your dog with others in front and behind to get them used to what happens in the ring.  Bring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry companion if you are both loving it!  No harsh handling will be permitted. \nWho is invited?  Anybody already showing or who has undergone a private 121 session with Ringcraft Rebels.\nWhat should I bring?  Treats …. lots and lots of tiny high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.\nShould I bring toys?  If your dog is toy-driven\, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.\nDo I need to bring a water bowl?  Water is available but please bring your own bowl to avoid cross contamination.\nDo I need poo bags?  Yes\, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.\nWhat should I wear?  Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.\nDo I need a chair?  We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour.  If you feel you will need to sit down\, then please do bring your own chair. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and do not disturb the class once it is already in session.\nPrice is PER DOG \nLOCATION:\nThe dog barn is on the South Cave – Brough road\, 420 metres in the Brough direction from the roundabout near the BP service station on the A1034/A63 South Cave junction. Drive past Wandahome Caravans and its just before you get to the Ellerker/ Brantingham crossroads. \nT’s and C’s\nCancellations are NON REFUNDABLE\, though places can be swapped if you find you cannot attend – let us know\nAny dog who has been ill\, or in contact with a dog who has been poorly within the last 2 weeks should NOT ATTEND\nDogs with reactive aggression should be given adequate space and not permitted to bark/lunge at others in the class.  Should this behaviour not be controlled safely\, they may be asked to leave if they are considered dangerous/disruptive to others in the class. \nYou are responsible for clearing up ALL toileting accidents

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our\nRingcraft Rebels\nWinter Show\, 2025\n \nShow open to all Ringcraft Rebels members\nDoors open @ 10am and Judging starts @ 11am\n\nWater is available but please bring your own seating.  \n  \nYour judge for the day:  Magdalena Skawska (Mapimakastar) \n \nMagdalena is an owner\, exhibitor and breeder of the SHIH TZU breed for over 10 years. For over six years\, she has passed all the required judging exams. In the meantime\, she’s judged several open shows and ring crafts\, having passed more than a dozen exams in various breeds. Mainly she loves shows and judging if she has the opportunity. During the week Magdalena is a busy person\, but always finds time for a show and her additional handmade hobby.  She says that she absolutely loves meeting new people\, and especially new breeds.
