SUMMARY:NOVEMBER K9 1ST AID WEBINAR
DESCRIPTION:CANINE ON-LINE FIRST AID\nDue to restrictions placed upon us in accordance with the Corona virus\, we were unable to get to our students in person so started teaching remotely\, via live Webinar linkup.  So popular were these sessions that we have decided to continue offering one per month\, even though we are now BACK ON THE ROAD.   Certificates and course notes will be posted to you after the event to keep your CPD requirements up to date.  All the sessions we have delivered in this manner since April 2020 have been very warmly received\, with our students agreeing that no information is lost in this delivery method … though obviously it’s a shame you don’t get to meet Rain\, Dice and Coda in person for cuddles!\n……………………………………….\nSo what to you need to do to access the training via webinar?  Well\, when you book on through the button below\, you will receive an email.  That email will have the joining link you need to access the training and it’s SIMPLE I promise.  If you are going to watch the course on a PC or a laptop\, then provided you have Google Chrome on your computer\, simply clicking the link will take you straight into the meeting.\nIf you are going to watch via a tablet or other mobile device\, then you will need to make sure you have already downloaded the 8×8 Video Meetings app to your phone or tablet.  Then\, at the time of the meeting\, just click the joining link in your email to connect straight through.\nThe session will be open to join 30 MINUTES before it is due to start to enable everybody the time to get to grips with the tech so we can still start promptly.  If you have any questions\, please do give me a call on 07946 208817 and we will talk you through any glitches.\n………………………………………. \nOn our courses\, EVERYBODY is welcome from Students through to Professional Groomers\, Pet Sitters\, Dog Trainers\, Security Guards\, Hobbyists and members of the General Public.  We deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \n\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary. For students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nI will record the entire session so\, in the unlikely event that your signal drops out during the live transmission\, I will be able to send you over a video of any parts you missed.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and if you have your dog handy\, then you could try this as we go along too.  However\, it is generally safer to practice your skills initially on a human volunteer rather than on your furry best friend.   A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts clearly by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up which is great for you to witness as a learning tool.  Once you are consistently getting positive feedback from your human “Rover”\, that’s the time to start practising on your dog.\n\n.\nWe have a fully stocked shop on the website where any products featured (and many more that we don’t mention) will be available for you to buy should you wish: our Rhodes 2 Recovery books\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc.  If you do order from our website\, your merchandise will be sent to you in a different package from your certificate to ensure that it arrives with you in a nice\, flat condition\, rather than squeezed in with your purchases.\n\n\n\n(Spaces are paid for in full\, in advance\, and sadly are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks notice.)\n\n\n\n\n……………………………………….\nRhodes 2 Safety have been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training for the last 7 years straight (2016\,17\,18\,19\,20\, 21 & 22) in the Business Excellence Awards as well as the Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017\, Global Excellence Training Provider of the Year 2018\,  finalist in the 2019 Animal Star Awards\, Trusted Business Woman of the Year\, 2021\, and UK’s Trusted Canine First Aid Provider of the Year 2022 in the Lux Pet Products Awards\, so you know the information and service you get from us will be second-to-none\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets

SUMMARY:K9 1ST AID FOR NEWPORT\, EAST YORKSHIRE
DESCRIPTION:HEAD’S UP EAST YORKSHIRE!!\nWe are delighted to be back in my home county of East Yorkshire.  This session\, just like all our others\, is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \n* \nHaving celebrated our 20th Anniversary in December 2021\, we are very proud to say that Rhodes 2 Safety has continued to be ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training (every year consecutively since 2016 in the Business Excellence Awards)\, so you know the information and service you get from us will be second-to-none.  Since we were up and running N(pre-Covid) we have sadly lost all three of our original Team with Axl\, Rain and Chi all now at the bridge …. but we do have two new lunatics who’ve joined our number so you’ll get to meet either Dice (on the right) or Coda (on the left). \n ridgeback \n  \nWe deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary although we are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the day if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes.\n.\nFor students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and then students will be put into pairs to allow one to be the first aider and the other to be the doggy patient.  Once the bandage is done\, students will then swap so that each not only has an opportunity to apply the dressing but also understands how the dressing feels when applied.  A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up\, another indicator that is more difficult to see on a furry patient.\n.\nTo practice on a toy would not give you any of this feedback and I would not be happy about anybody practising on a live animal until they are proficient.  I am\, however\, more than happy for our students to torture a human!  Each student will be given a wound dressing and vet wrap to use during their practical training\, and will also be allowed to keep and take these home with them at the end of the day.\n.\n\nAt the end of the session\, there will be first aid products on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc should you wish to buy or beef up your existing canine first aid kit. \nTickets do go very quickly and there are strict limits on numbers\, so if you would like to secure your place\, please click the “Buy ticket” button below. \nT’s & C’s\n(Spaces are paid for in full\, in advance\, through PayPal on this website.  If you do not have a PayPal account\, you can still check out as a guest\, simply using your credit card details.  Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.) \n\nCome and join

SUMMARY:NORTHERN IRELAND - BALLYCLARE K9 FIRST AID
DESCRIPTION:USE CAR PARK ENTRANCE ON HARRIER WAY ROBIN –\n77 MAIN STREET\, BALLYCLARE\, BT39 9AA\nIT’S FANTASTIC TO BE BACK and boy have we missed you all. \nWe are delighted to be back in Northern Ireland again after three whole years away. Since our last tour (pre-Covid) we have sadly lost two of our Team with Father and Son Axl and Chi passing away.  We do have two new lunatics joining our number now\, however\, so you may well get to meet either Dice or Coda …. or the ever faithful old RainBob for smooches. \n \n  \nWe deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary although we are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the day if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes.\n.\nFor students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and each students will given a wound dressing and vetwrap of their own to take away to practice at home.  We recommend practicing a human before going on to honing your skills on your furry friend.  A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up\, another indicator that is more difficult to see on a furry patient.  To practice on a toy would not give you any of this feedback and I would not be happy about anybody practising on a live canine until they are proficient (torturing a human is\, of course\, totally fine! lol)\n.\n\nAt the end of the session\, there will be first aid products on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc should you wish to buy or beef up your existing canine first aid kit.

SUMMARY:SEPTEMBER K9 1ST AID WEBINAR
DESCRIPTION:Due to restrictions placed upon us in accordance with the Corona virus\, we were unable to get to our students in person so started teaching remotely\, via live Webinar linkup. We deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary. Once you are consistently getting positive feedback from your human “Rover”\, that’s the time to start practising on your dog.\n.\nWe have a fully stocked shop on the website where any products featured (and many more that we don’t mention) will be available for you to buy should you wish: our Rhodes 2 Recovery books\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc. If you do order from our website\, your merchandise will be sent to you in a different package from your certificate to ensure that it arrives with you in a nice\, flat condition\, rather than squeezed in with your purchases.\n(Spaces are paid for in full\, in advance\, and sadly are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks notice.)\n……………………………………….\nRhodes 2 Safety have been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training for the last 7 years straight (2016\,17\,18\,19\,20\, 21 & 22) in the Business Excellence Awards as well as the Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017\, Global Excellence Training Provider of the Year 2018\, finalist in the 2019 Animal Star Awards\, Trusted Business Woman of the Year\, 2021\, and UK’s Trusted Canine First Aid Provider of the Year 2022 in the Lux Pet Products Awards\, so you know the information and service you get from us will be second-to-none

SUMMARY:BOURNEMOUTH CANINE FIRST AID
DESCRIPTION:IT’S FANTASTIC TO BE BACK and boy have we missed you all. \nWe are delighted to be back in Bournemouth again after three whole years away.

SUMMARY:JULY K9 1ST AID WEBINAR
DESCRIPTION:JULY CANINE ON-LINE FIRST AID\nDue to restrictions placed upon us in accordance with the Corona virus\, we were unable to get to our students in person so started teaching remotely\, via live Webinar linkup.

DESCRIPTION:K9 ON-LINE 1ST AID\nThank you to the Scottish Border Collie Club for inviting us to deliver our canine first aid training webinar live for  you all.  We hope you will enjoy the training and know it will certainly hit the brief when it comes to giving you the confidence and information you need to care for your dogs\, even in the most testing of circumstances.\n………………………………………. \nSo what to you need to do to access the training via webinar?  Well\, when you book on through the Club\, you will receive an email. Then\, at the time of the meeting\, just click the joining link in your email to connect straight through.\nThe session will be open to join around 60 MINUTES before it is due to start to enable everybody the time to get to grips with the tech so we can still start promptly. Once you are consistently getting positive feedback from your human “Rover”\, that’s the time to start practising on your dog.\n\n.\nWe have a fully stocked shop on this website where any products featured (and many more that we don’t mention) will be available for you to buy should you wish: our Rhodes 2 Recovery books\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc.  If you do order from our website\, your merchandise will be sent to you in a different package from your certificate to ensure that it arrives with you in a nice\, flat condition\, rather than squeezed in with your purchases.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets should be booked and paid for through the Scottish Border Collie Club.\n……………………………………….\nRhodes 2 Safety have been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training for the last 5 years straight (2017\,18\,19\,20\, 21) in the Business Excellence Awards as well as the Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017\, Global Excellence Training Provider of the Year 2018\,  finalist in the 2019 Animal Star Awards\, and Trusted Business Woman of the Year\, 2021\, so you know the information and service you get from us will be second-to-none.

SUMMARY:EDINBURGH CANINE 1ST AID
DESCRIPTION:This date will be our last Scottish date of 2022 so if you need your certification renewed\, please don’t miss this one as it will be another 10 months or so before we have a chance to be back North of the Border again.\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session\, just like all our others\, is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. Since we were up and running N(pre-Covid) we have sadly lost two of our Team with Father and Son Axl and Chi passing away.  We do have two new lunatics joining our number now\, however\, so you may well get to meet either Dice or Coda …. or the ever faithful old RainBob for smooches. \n \n  \nWe deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary although we are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the day if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes.\n.\nFor students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and then students will be put into pairs to allow one to be the first aider and the other to be the doggy patient.
