SUMMARY:York Canine First Aid Presentation
DESCRIPTION: As seen on T.V. …\n\n(ITV’s Britain’s Favourite 100 Dogs to be precise 😉 ) \n \nWe are thrilled to have been invited by York Canine Association to deliver a 2 hour canine first aid presentation to accompany their Annual Fish & Chip Supper (or Veg Quiche & Salad).  Although this is not our full certificated workshop\, this evening is still sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \nRhodes 2 Safety has been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training in both the 2017 and 2018 Business Excellence Awards as well as the outright Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, so you know the information and service you get from us will literally be second-to-none. \n \nWe will be dealing with how to treat a variety of wounds and bleeding\, as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration. \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nWe are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the presentation if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes and feel free to post comments or pictures on any social media platform you like.\n.\nAt the end of the session\, there will be first aid products on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book should you need information to take away with you\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, and tick pickers etc if you need to buy or beef up your existing canine first aid kit.\n***\nPlaces cost just £12 each but do go very quickly\,\nso if you would like to secure your slot\, please contact:\n***\nMr. Michael Thornton on Tel: 07919 050636 or by\n ***\n\nemail at thorntonmw19@gmail.com. \n\n\nCOME & JOIN US

SUMMARY:Hutton Cranswick\, E Yorks
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to be adding another date to our 2018 diary\, and this time it’s pretty local – my own county of East Yorkshire!  The course\, which is taking place in Hutton Cranswick\, just 3 miles south of Driffield\, is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \nRhodes 2 Safety has been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training in the 2017 Business Excellence Awards\, the outright Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017 and we regained our title again this year too\, so you know the information and service you get from us will literally be second-to-none. \n \nWe deal with shock\, bleeding\, choking\, bites\, road traffic accidents as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration \nStudents DO NOT bring their dogs\, but I will have one or two of my Ridgebacks with me for demonstration purposes.\n.\nEach student will gain a certificate of attendance and full course notes to take away\, so note taking throughout the session is unnecessary although we are more than happy for students to take their own notes\, photographs of the dogs or anything that is put on the whiteboard during the day if they feel it will help them remember techniques or processes.\n.\nFor students attending as part of their vocational studies\, the course generates 3 CPD points.\n.\nDuring the bandaging section\, I will demonstrate on one of my dogs and then students will be put into pairs to allow one to be the first aider and the other to be the doggy patient.  Once the bandage is done\, students will then swap so that each not only has an opportunity to apply the dressing but also understands how the dressing feels when applied.  A dog cannot give you any feedback about your skills so by doing it on a person\, we can get their honest opinion once the bandage is complete. Human skin also reacts by changing colour and temperature if it is too tight and swells up\, another indicator that is more difficult to see on a furry patient.\n.\nTo practice on a toy would not give you any of this feedback and I would not be happy about anybody practicing on a live animal until they are proficient.  I am\, however\, more than happy for our students to torture a human!  Each student will be given a wound dressing and vet wrap to use during their practical training\, and will also be allowed to keep and take these home with them at the end of the day.\n.\n\nAt the end of the session\, there will be first aid products on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book\, bandages\, first aid kits\, vet wrap\, tick pickers etc should you wish to buy or beef up your existing canine first aid kit. \nTickets do go very quickly and there are strict limits on numbers\, so if you would like to secure your place\, please click the “Buy ticket” button below. \nT’s & C’s\n(Spaces are paid for in full\, in advance\, through PayPal on this website.  If you do not have a PayPal account\, you can still check out as a guest\, simply using your credit card details.  Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice. \n\nCome and join us?

SUMMARY:TAUNTON canine first aid workshop
DESCRIPTION:As seen on T.V. …\n(ITV’s Britain’s Favourite 100 Dogs to be precise 😉 ) \n \nWe are thrilled to be adding another date to our Southern mini tour\, this time in Taunton.  The course\, which is taking place in Creech St. Michael\, is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \nRhodes 2 Safety has been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training in the 2017 Business Excellence Awards\, the outright Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017 and have been nominated once again for the award this year (we await our fate as to whether we’ve won it again for 2018!) so you know the information and service you get from us will literally be second-to-none. Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.) \nParking is either on the Racecourse itself\, or in one of the two carparks just 5 minutes away. \n\nCome and join us?

DESCRIPTION:This mid-week session at the Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre in Gilberdyke\, East Yorkshire is sure to be fun\, lively and incredibly effective at getting the important first aid information across that could well save the life of your furry companion. \nAs seen on ITV’s “Britain’s Favourite 100 Dogs”\, Rhodes 2 Safety have been ranked as the UK’s Number 1 for canine first aid training in both the 2017 & 2018 Business Excellence Awards as well as being crowned Winner of the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year award\, 2017 so you know the information and service you get from us will be second-to-none. Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.) \n\nCome and join us?

Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.) \n\nCome and join us?

Sadly\, all payments are non-refundable if cancelled with less than two weeks’ notice.) \n\nCome and join us?
