CANINE ON-LINE FIRST AID
Over the years we have taught several times for the Lochaber & District Canine Society so it was lovely to be invited to deliver a session for you all in an “on line” capacity. I think with Covid being thrust upon us, we’ve all got a whole lot more tech savvy and our live webinar deliveries have gone down a storm with our followers giving everybody the opportunity to be involved without the need for petrol, child care (or even getting out of your PJ’s in some cases!)

On our courses, EVERYBODY is welcome from Students through to Professional Groomers, Pet Sitters, Dog Trainers, Security Guards, Hobbyists and members of the General Public. We deliver sound, lively, fun teaching on all aspects of canine first aid but in this particular session we will be looking at:
The Primary Survey
CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
AR (Artificial Respiration)
Choking
Shock
(and any other questions we may have time to address at the end)
We hope to be able to run a second session in the New Year which will cover other topics such as:
Wound Recognition
Bleeding
Special Area Bleeding (Split Ears and Tail Tips)
Nail Trims/Broken Nails
Ticks
Stings (Wasps and Bees)
Burns
Road Traffic Accidents and Secondary Survey

So what to you need to do to access the training via webinar? Well, when you book on through the button below, you will receive an email. That email will have the joining link you need to access the training and it’s SIMPLE I promise. If you are going to watch the course on a PC or a laptop, then provided you have Google Chrome on your computer, simply clicking the link will take you straight into the meeting.
If you are going to watch via a tablet or other mobile device, then you will need to make sure you have already downloaded the FREE 8×8 Video Meetings app to your phone or tablet. Then, at the time of the meeting, just click the joining link in your email to connect straight through.
The session will be open to join 60 MINUTES before it is due to start to enable everybody the time to get to grips with the tech so we can still start promptly. If you have any questions, please do give me a call on 07946 208817 and we will talk you through any glitches.
