PUPPY FIRST AID
Our Puppy First Aid Course has been specifically crafted to give confidence to anybody with a new puppy in their lives, be that new owners or Professionals in the dog world. We know and understand just how scary it can be when you open your heart to a new soul, especially when they are as defenceless and cute as a puppy is.
Puppies are easily the most accident-prone members of your “family” and as such, it’s a good idea to know what to do BEFORE you ever need to do it, should things go wrong. With the added cuteness of all the demonstrations being performed by Coda, our brand new 10 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback pup, we’re sure you’ll feel so much calmer having watched this 2.5 hours of life-saving information. The video was written and delivered exclusively by Rhodes 2 Safety, voted the UK’s number one Canine First Aid Training team consecutively every year to date, since 2016.
So What’s Covered?:
The video will address how and why you need to check the pulse, respiration, colour of the gums and also your pup’s temperature. It covers how to recognise and treat shock, a really serious and life-threatening condition. It also deals head on with choking, a definite pre-requisite when you invite a furry land-shark into your life! As you’d expect from any good first aid course, we will also look closely at how and why you need to be able to deliver CPR and Artificial Respiration, together with lots of other incredible information including: dehydration, poisoning, bleeding, vital contact numbers to have handy, and of course, what you need to have in your own first aid kit.
This video, brand new for 2021, is hosted on Vimeo and, when you make your purchase, you will receive the private links for each topic within the series, so that you alone can access the footage from your device, as many times as you need.
Later in the year we will also be adding more videos to our website shop on many other canine first aid topics, so don’t forget to check back to see what else we can offer.
This document will only be able to be downloaded once, some PC’s may automatically download the link when you click on it.
We suggest saving this and storing it on your PC in a location you will remember.
