HELLO DONSIDE!!!
Fresh from even more success at Crufts this year with wins and placings from pretty much all of our “Ringcraft Rebels” we are thrilled to be able to offer a session specifically for Donside Ringcraft club, as part of our 2023 tour of Scotland. With a maximum of just 8 dogs in the class, we’ll work through stacking, handling, and moving your show dog using only positive, treat and toy based methods. While you are waiting for your turn at the table/with the “judge”, you will be expected to practice various exercises throughout the session so there is no “dead time”… every moment counts. You will have the opportunity to present and to move your dog and gain the easy to understand, straight-forward tips that will bring your handling up to the next level, effortlessly. Bring your happy face and enthusiastic demeanour – training should be fun and I guarantee you’ll get so much more from your furry companion if you are both loving it! No harsh handling will be permitted.
Who is invited? Anybody connected with Donside Ringcraft Club
What should I bring? Treats …. lots and lots of TINY high value yummy treats that your dog will work for.
Should I bring toys? If your dog is toy-driven, then bring his favourite toy as his reward/reinforcer.
Do I need to bring a water bowl? As always, please bring your own water/bowl to avoid cross contamination.
Do I need poo bags? Yes, always have poo bags with you (that includes in the actual show ring too) … you just never know when they’ll do it.
What should I wear? Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move at a speed you would in the show ring.
Do I need a chair? We envisage you standing and working with your dog throughout the entire hour. If you feel you will need to sit down, then please do bring your own chair.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to ensure you get the full amount of time and have the opportunity to toilet your dog before entering the venue. Price is PER DOG

Ringcraft Rebels is our Private FB group (click this link Ringcraft Rebels ) which only those training with us are invited to join. On it we post free videos, files, tips and photos which will help in your ringcraft journey. You can ask questions, post your own videos and share your wins there too, safe in the knowledge you are in a non-judgemental, force-free environment. Based in East Yorkshire, we train group workshops as well as 121’s for those students who would like to come and train with us first hand.
Live too far away to train with Ringcraft Rebels?
No problem!
We also offer 121 sessions through TEAMS as a virtual delivery so you can get the same Ringcraft Rebels training from the convenience of your own living room – save on the travelling time and expense and have no need to hire a venue either! We have students right across the world who train with us so if you feel you need a little bit of extra personal guidance, our 121’s are for you.
