Emergency K9 1st Aid by Rhodes 2 Safety – Ranked at Number 2 in the entire UK from well over a thousand first aid training providers, we will be in Malpas, Cheshire to deliver a K9 1st Aid Presentation in aid of the “Justice for Maggie” charity.
Justice for Maggie is a charity set up to raise funds to treat and rehabilitate Maggie the Labrador. Sold as a puppy and then apparently abused, the team at Justice for Maggie are working hard to provide her with the care, treatment and medication that it’s going to take to get her back to full health. Once she has been returned to fitness, the charity will continue raising funds to treat other abused animals like Maggie.
This evening presentation will be fun, lively and incredibly effective at getting across the important first aid information that could well save the life of your furry companion. Topics covered during the presentation will include Shock, Bleeding and bandaging as well as the big topics of CPR and Artificial Respiration.
The presentation will include a demonstration of CPR technique and bandaging along with lots of memory aid tips to help you keep all the facts in order.
Half way through we will stop for light refreshments/comfort break, and at the end of the session there will be first aid products on sale too such as our Rhodes 2 Recovery book, bandages, first aid kits, vet wrap, tick pickers etc.
This presentation is just that – a Presentation. If you would like to do a full canine first aid course with Rhodes 2 Safety lasting for 3.5 hours and generating printed notes, a certificate and 3 CPD points for your vocational studies, then please either check the Events page to see if we have a course near you, or contact us regarding the possibility of hosting one for yourself.
